IMHO - Barton was a pain in the ####.... and caused a lot of grief.

He did give it 100% most of the time though. But he was on more dough than Hovis.

Who cares, I'll clap jfh and our players. We seem to care too much about ex players that didn't really do that much for us. We hated Barton when he went to Marseille but then loved him when he came back. Let's back our players and screw anyone else.

Given the off field chaos that surrounded him for much of his time here, and the lack of a shift put in by certain other players, I think he did well for us. I can certainly think of a few that didn't roll their sleeves up.

The way Barton didn't want to sign for us & then admitted he only did for the money sums up where we went wrong, him & his like never respected the club .

more important things to concentrate on than Joey, these two games, Brighton Tuesday, could determine our season
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

No respect for Joey. Big time Charlie who rinsed us for more than he was worth... I won't be booing though.

Tbh so long as we win the game and he isn't injured, I'd prefer to see Joey smash Sandro up in the air....

Still like him, but not next Saturday. A bit more intellectual than most fotballers. Not that it keeps him from doing stupid things, unfortunatly.

Really?! I get Joey was a decent servant to us, but he is the opposition now!

Yeah.... Weird I know. But only provided we win and Sandro's not injured. Have yet to warm to Sandro. Happy for Joey to play badly and score an own goal.

Yeah. It's normal enough. I never hate opposing players. Disliked Anton F intensely when he played for us. Never even noticed him Thursday.
