I wouldn't say JFH is a novice like CR. JFH has got Burton promoted, and now sitting top of league 1. Let that sink in, we are talking about Burton Albion, not Coventry, Sheff United, or another giant in League 1. That is no fluke!

Watching interviews, and documentaries on him he is a student of the game. He has his own way which so far has been successful. He has been a player at the top and worked under many top managers which would have only helped. He will command the respect of the dressing room, and if his playing style is to go by, he will not be taking for a mug or a ride.

CR on the other hand, played pro at the lowest level, and coached at a rubbish level before Spurs or England kids. Never managed a proper football league club and took our job at the age of 53 or whatever he is, and he seemed very soft. Was always going to fail as a manager imo.

QPR is a massive step up for JFH, no doubt. For me though if given time, he can rebuild this club back to a respectable level and put a stop to this merry go round circus currently going on at the club.

Haha. Want to be. But he infuriates me. So slow he makes Charlie look quick.

Yeah for a youngster he isn't that fast, always worries me with his lack of restraint on the pitch. Thought he was going to get a red last night.

Yes but for different reasons to those aired so far. He might well be worth the risk, but on a rolling contract I think not. If he came with a better track record I would wince and turn a blind eye. If he fails he has the club over a barrel on compensation. I suspect he was the man wanted and the man said these are the terms take it or leave it.

I seem to recall a certain championship winning season.

Look at NW's overall champ form. Plenty to judge him - the stats are in the book ;)

I never realised his long career included a spell in Holland and a change of race.....
