But all that aside, what happens to QPR if FB is forced out? LM & BE are on the Board because of him. They haven't shown much interest in the club or watching games so will they stay on? If not, QPR are in it deep.

Who will contnue to pay the players high wages?
The club's income is not enough to cover its expenditure.

It's all very well criticising, but perhaps we need to think about the consequences.
Like everyone else on here, this is just an opinion, based on very little knowledge of what very rich men are thinking.... but I can't see Amit Bhatia (and Mital) walking away from QPR because of what FB has done.

I just don't see that happening.

Good job we have them on board, or I would be very worried.

stanistheman - That's true, but instead of asking QPR fans who had no part in 'Crashgate' to think of the consequences, surely the question has to be why did Briatore not think of the consequences.

That question alone proves his not fit or proper.

        That is boll ocks mate!
GP did an incredible job to sell this club to money men while the bucket was going around at games. The guy has people skills and knows how to build the club up even though we we're in financial ruin. GP like Benny said does get way to much stick. Yes lets all believe an arab was waiting in the wings but the reality was we was saved!
Try re-reading what I said - no-one knows for certain what would have happened - I'm not saying believe anything but to say that we would have gone out of business or be in the conference is plain nonsense as the simple fact is no-one can say with any certainty what would have happened.

As for the phone call - I don't doubt for one second that GP hit the phones trying to save his investment but did he call FB or did they find out about it and call him?

The amount of spin that emenates from the club means it is extremely hard to seperate fact from fiction.

surely he will fail this test, wouldn't mind him out tbh although him and gp (?) attracted the money men to LR

Writtle Gianni may have many faults and I know some people dont like the guy which is fair enough.

But the investment that came into the club was down to Gianni making the initial contact and selling them the club to Briatore in the first instance.

            That's a 100% fact.

Paul, I am not really disputing whether he is fit or proper, but it seems many fans are glad that this is happening.

I am thankful for his contribution to QPR i.e. bringing in Ecclestone, Mittal and the sponsorship deals and only want him to go if someone like the Mittals are going to replace him.

I think there is a good chance that they will not (apart from Bhatia, they have not shown much interest in the club so far) and QPR will be looking for new owners and investors again.

That is my main concern because too many players at QPR have lucaritve, long term contracts.

Who else would have then? It almost certainly wasn't Antonio Calliendo and his Board.

Without him, we wouldn't even have the Mittals on board, very ungrateful bunch we are.

F1 is a crooked sport anyway and please don't me that Piquet was in any danger
