  • Hall... Contract talks

The boy is class and only 22 I believe. We have unearthed a gem and I pray our board are doing everything they can to tie him up to a new deal.

Whether that's for him to be a main stay at our club for the next few years or to ensure if anyone wants him they have to stump up a big fee.

I believe he is on small wages on a 2 year deal. A well run club imo by now would be locked into contract talks and looking to tie down this lad.

Will our board mess up again and could we see hall go for peanuts...

He is class and he's 24. 100% need to tie him down to a 5 year deal asap

Now that the game has finished they might be able to sort something out

I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

The club will drag it's heels & delay too long in tying hall down for longer,it's gonna take them a month or so to get a new manager. Totally clueless from top to bottom

Id say let him play for a season before we start giving out 5 year contracts. Keep him hungry. Spurs didn't let him go for nothing thinking this kid is gonna be worth loads of money 3 months down the line.

He has been one of the best so far, one to keep but someone will come knocking in Jan.

Which is why we should offer him a new contract now.
Spurs let him go as they didn't feel he was worth holding onto, but we obviously saw the player in him which he should respect.
Some footballers it ain't all about the money, Charlie is one of them as well.
If a club shows faith in you, then the contract you have should be honoured as long as the club still want you to be here.

                              Outstanding player
                              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                              And many more mistakes
