Said before and will say again, I really don't think they're that interested in us.

To be honest I thought he had already gone. Hardly see him lately. He used to put up on Twitter a bit but haven't been on for a while. Wonder if Mittal will be following?

"QPR in the Community Trust CEO, Andy Evans said: “Whilst I am saddened Amit has left his position as Trust Chairman, I completely understand his reasons for doing so."

The article doesn't report what those reasons are though. All a bit vague.

He does have a lot of outside interests, so it's presumably a time and commitment issue.

A positive spin to take from this is the possibility this will now give him more time to devote to his QPR vice-chairman and board position?

Same, always said that. People wonder what we would be like if he took sole ownership, imo if he wanted or was ever interested in sole ownership he would've taken it years ago.

Stanley, are you able to recover deleted posts? I just made a post in this thread and wanted to edit it, but for some reason it deleted instead.

Yes, this is what you wrote:

"If you go off of what's shown in the four year plan, they were very close to buying the club the summer we went up. B&E moved the goalposts at the last minute, and the Mittals for whatever reason decides not to meet the new asking price."

Feel free to amend and repost it, then I'll remove it from this post. You most likely pressed delete by mistake.

That was my understanding Mittal had agreement to buy the club B+E then upped the price which Mittal saw as bad policy .
Is Amit Resigning from this post any bad news for the football club I don't know , it was also my understanding the Mittals was behind Warnock returning as they were in bringing him to the club in the 1st place

True for Lakshmi, but I believe Amit is a fan , & it wouldn't surprise if he gets control somewhere down the line.
