If it did, I wouldn't go to Loftus Road every game would I? What clubs actually need to do is to find the key difference that makes a player unique through the stats. But the whole decision shouldn't be done on pure stats. Hence why most of liverpool's work hasn't worked. Look at Arsenal, the pioneers of British Statistical analysis. They are the best buyers in the country and the reason is obvious, they use their numbers to confirm the their suspicions. They do not go the other way around.
Dunno what Arsenal are doing but if they have £250m in the bank and 'can sign anyone in the world' I dunno why they aren't buying the Bayern side. Now that's a great side.
Do Bayern use stat based player recruitment? Cos whatever they are doing it works... Douglas Costa, what a player.

Bayern most definitely do, alongside global scouts who have the final verdict."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. Not sure what to make of this if I'm honest
Could be a great move but could also be a total disaster. We all said let's stopping approaching players who see us as a stepping stone or step down!!!! Suerly this applies to managers quite a drop Liverpool and European Football to Shepherds Bush
First big job that came up and he would be off and where back where we started.

Rodgers? - No thanks.
easily the most boring, negative dull, lifeless, football I have ever witnessed was his Swansea side at HQ the year we were both promoted.
Made a Ramsey side look like an Arsenal side on top form.
Never seen a team knock the ball sideways and backwards so much in my life.
Remember on the stroke of half time, literally seconds to go, they had a free kick on the half way line and was well worth a punt into the box and see if someone could get on the end of it. They knocked it back to their keeper.!!
Up in the Prem I remember how everyone raved about Swansea-lona and their incredible amount of pass completions and possession stats. So what.
Also remember when they played Newcastle and had 72% possession and lost 2 nil.
Next game was against us and had I think 69% possession and we won 3 nil.
Never seen what all the fuss was With Rodgers and doubt he thinks us worthy of his services anyway.
