No debt, just money spent. So it's not going to be easy for him to walk away and get any back. Cos he wouldn't get a pond for the club I doubt.

Not really sure why anyone would want Tony out. He's made some bad calls but there is no way he is the only person working on them, all be it he may have the final say. All of his decisions that have been proven bad are that at the time seemed astute, only hind sight has proven them poor.

      ie
      Warnocks initial sacking
      Hughes hiring
      Redknapp hiring
Waiting too long to pull the trigger on both
      Ramsey hiring

Others may well prove to be great planning and sound decisions. No way these guys are rashly pulling strings trying to get the club into trouble. It could be way worse we could be a Newcastle......anyone wants TF out based upon what little we know from his interviews and the press is frankly as stupid as the believe Tony is.

Issues that may exist at the top of the club would not doubt go deeper than one man, to will one of them out would not cure anything that may or may not exist.

          Sell QPR?

Oh yes, there would be a queue of wealthy people just desperate to hand over money for an entity supposedly £200m in the red with very little prospect of seeing a return on investment any time soon.

Would be astonished if this was anything other than a daft rumour.

            Nothing of note no.
I'm sure I heard on the radio the other day Bolton are in 180 million of 'actual debt'. Unless I dreamt it

This concerns me. When we were bought we were a PL team with no debt. Now we are a championship team with '£180m actual debt' if you believe the media outlets.

I would like to know how the money is spent.. Please take into consideration the incomings.

              3x PL tv money
              2x parachute payments
              Sponsorship
              Player sales
              And any other income.

Would be nice to see the figures.

And if the great TF ever upped and left it would be nice to be put back how he found us.

It would be, it's his money not borrowed from anyone so isn't owed to anyone. He and the others who stuck it in would have to take the hit.

That's an incredible amount of money to 'disappear' so to speak. They can literally do no right in some peoples eyes though.

Whoa, that is amazing. What a post. Literally jaw drop. And you get knockers that do nothing but coat him off and tweet him dogs abuse.
On a minus, that looks like ready to sell to me. Will be a really sad day if so.

Wow................IF that document is true then yes it looks like they have cleared the debt we have and are ready to sell.

I was just going to write before i saw that document that, UNLESS the current owners clear the debt of which i wasn't sure they would keep their word of doing so they would walk away leaving the club in administration with no one interested in buying.
People keep blaming TF for his tenure in the debt and bad calls regarding players bought and managers hired. It is the board, all of them who decide whether to buy and hire people so Tony is not completely to blame. Plus more than Tony i think the biggest blame needs to be put at the individuals hired, the players and managers/coaching staff have not done their jobs properly to a sufficient standard and have let themselves down. How come Man City have spent millions but have got it right ala Southampton, Swansea, Crystal palace and basically every other club that is doing well since TF came in. It is virtually impossible to go into the Premiership and not spend on players to try and compete but it remains the hard work and passion of any footballer to try his hardest to stay there. I think it is about time for clubs to sack players who constantly don't try their hardest and are not doing their jobs. If a manager can get the sack because his players are clearly seen as not playing for him then they should also be held responsible.

Who knows maybe they already have an interested party involved who has stipulated that they would only be interested if the debt was cleared.

Nice one Maido! Don't really know what it means but will take your word for it. If TF has cleared the debt then well done. That mess has been sorted. If he sells then so be it, fingers crossed someone decent buys the club. At least we are debt free and makes us appealing to buy.

Good post Jeff, totally agree. Shared responsibility. I think it's a shame TF put himself out there on social media and become a very vocal member of the board, more than the rest.

You know what wound me up the most is that we made mistakes with MH and allowed ourselves to make the same mistakes again with HR..

i wrote on another post a few days back that Tony as he isn't predominately a football man is kinda living the dream if you will. And he is far too easily persuaded by seemingly football experts but who can blame him. If you had someone talking to you about football who has spent most of their life being a player and manager then you would think they know what they're talking about. It happened again with Les persuading him that getting rid of Harry however it was done and installing him as DOF who Tony has probably been told by Les how much the club means to him and to install CR as manager. If football people give non football people enough spin they will start to believe it. And if we go the route of giving Sherwood the job then Les really is the blue eyed boy and has the board wrapped around his finger. But If news does break soon that we are looking for new owners then i think we may well stick with Neil. I believe he was brought in to steady the ship to make us more attractive to a buyer than a struggling team going backwards.
