Originally posted by upperloft View PostThis concerns me. When we were bought we were a PL team with no debt. Now we are a championship team with '£180m actual debt' if you believe the media outlets.
I would like to know how the money is spent.. Please take into consideration the incomings.
3x PL tv money
2x parachute payments
Sponsorship
Player sales
And any other income.
Would be nice to see the figures.
And if the great TF ever upped and left it would be nice to be put back how he found us.
As for Hitman, he doesn't seem to say anything supportive of the club at all. He revels in our misfortune. His ranting and raving is bordering on dangerous.
There are others who don't mind us slipping down the leagues and getting the buckets out again. For them it means "we've got our Rangers back". Really?
I want to see our club progress. I want a new stadium and training complex. I want to see us compete at the highest level.
If you don't want us to move onwards and upwards do you want us moving backwards and downwards?Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Tony has tweeted he is in it for the long haul, don't believe what has been said about selling up, good to hear and I hope he has learned a lesson and be a bit more hard nosed, and get the right people around him, probably get rid of Les and Install Neil as DOF, if another manager comes in, which he has far more experience than Les, and he would do the right thing for the club not just giving jobs to mates.

Don't think there will be a shortage of potential buyers for the club. If it's right that they've written off the debt, it's only because they realise they've not a cat in hells chance of getting the money back. They're also probably getting bored of their football toy, just as they became bored of their motor racing toy. Sell the club with no debt and get some money back....wonder what QPR are worth?
Still wouldn't write off the Mittals buying the club.... And no reason why we can't run balanced books at the club - look at Swansea - ground only holds 2,000 more than LR, which must be more than made up for by the higher prices at LR and yet they run at a profit..the difference? - they're well managed, our lot couldn't run the proverbial in a brewery
