Trust & faith was put in him when it shouldn't have been. You need to be able to get inside players heads. That side of the game is more important than tactics for me. His tactics while we're at it were shocking too.
Fair comment that Jim. The coaches have always been the players "friend". Managers imo need top man management skills, be it b*ll*cking them or molly coddling them.
That's the difference imo.
