REFEREE Rob Lewis has been appointed for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship match against Preston North End at Loftus Road.

The Shropshire based official will take charge of his first R’s match at Loftus Road.

His only previous outing as referee in a QPR match was back in March 2007 when he oversaw a a 2-1 defeat against Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

This season he has nine matches – only one in the Championship – issuing 32 yellow cards and two red cards. He has always awarded four penalties.

Assisting Lewis will be David Rock and Declan Ford whilst James Linington is on fourth official duties.
