Yes and no ! yes I like others could see the Drossball would put us in shlt street it has ,
no I cant see us getting a manager of substance but that doesn't mean we cant get somebody who can get us playing football Sherwood is out of work not everybodies cup of tea but certainly not as bad some like to think , we could take a chance on some young manager like Ainsworth , but I certainly think we won't get most of the names being bandied about

It's funny to see really. So many who desperately wanted Ramsey gone are now disappointed with the list of managers realistically we could get.

Not disappointed by any of them Ginge I just dont think we would be very high on the list of disirable clubs for the likes of Pearson or Rodgers , Jimmy Floyd is building a name and profile for his future and would be well advised to stay where he is being succesful , 1 think we will get what wer'e given , I think whoever we given the football has to improve

Personally think the same, although would love it if Pearson or Rodgers came in, and would be disappointed if we didn't at least approach them. JFH is a good shout, I'm just wondering though, if we did get him or someone like him, how long they would be given before being written off as a shite league 1 manager, as some of our players have been.

Totally agree. Pearson and Rodgers have got to be the first two names on the list and it wouldn't cost anything to call their Agents and make enquiries. If they say no then Jimmy Floyd or Malky Makay. Love Neil, but don't think he would be a good choice now.

As underhwelming a list of names as it is, at least everyone on it is a football manager. Which gives them a distinct advantage over Ramsey.

I think he's just being realistic. We're a mid sized Championship club in piles of debt. We're not exactly in a position to take our pick when it comes to propsective managers. We have to take the best of bad bunch - that's about where we're at at this point in time. Doesn't mean whoever we do bring in won't be better than arguably the worst manager we've had in my lifetime (and a type that having sat through the Briatore Era).
