looks like Sampdoria are after Montella. He was too good to be in the wilderness for long. Top young manager, had expressed an interest in working over here. I just hope all bases are covered this time round....

Rene Meulensteen, who was at Fulham some Seasons age, once was a respected coach at Man. Utd. Maybe, he is a man who can work well alongside a DOF.

Is this for real? Is he still favourite with the bookies?
For me it would be a disasterI blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Meulensteen was brought in to suceed Jol , but got the sack a few months later when Felix Magath came in. Fulham were eventually relegated. Not sure the few months he had to steady the ship at Fulham are enough to judge his abilities as a leader at all. Anyway, he is now working as a consultant at Philadelphia Union in the US.QPR

Muelensteen is indeed a class coach... Can he manage players and their big ego's tho? His time at Fulham suggests not, but wouldn't be against him coming in.
If it's to be Alex McLeish then we all need to get the pitchforks out and run the clown out of town. Not for one minute I think we're considering him mind....
