It's not about small or large pitches it's about players mind set and mentality . We are talking about a matter of feet not ####ing square miles . 11 against 11 one goal at each end . The only affecting factor is a lively and intimidating home crowd and even then professional sportsmen paid tens of thousands of pounds a week should be able to deal with it .

CR actually said in one of his pre season interviews that he doesn't want to play with two defensive mids as it takes away from our attacking prowess and makes us too defensive as a team. But for some reason has gone back on it. Could be too apprehensive and trying to play safe like HR used to away from home.
