Agree but you should select players based on form and Jet has been pretty decent in the games he has played so should not be dropped and would send out the wrong signals if he was IMO.

I was saying yesterday even before he scored that was really impressed with his work rate and desire when his reputation was that he was lazy.

Think 2 up top might work with him and Chas as they would complement each other quite well.

Also, this system has been doing all right for Burnley, and I consider our 2 to be better than theirs.

442 with both up top. I think they would really compliment each other's games .

Really want to see them play up front together!

                JET/Austin

No chance of it happening but the 2 of them up top together v Brentford (if Charlie is fit) - they would be a handful

You would have to change the whole set up though, he plays with two natural wide men up there with a front man .unless you put JET out wide, he would rather play through the middle me thinks

He really doesn't look like he enjoys playing up front from what I see in games haha. He's always on the wing. He looks like an inside forward, someone we could put on the right if Phillips isn't doing it.

We had a good chance yesterday to see how good 2 upfront would work especially against a kack side,, we could off dropped Henry for polter. Chance gone now, chaz will be on bench anyway they won't rush him back

JET was superb today and has been very good since deputising for Austin, and imo doesn't deserve to lose his place.
I understand what your saying but Austin almost guarantees you goals in every game, maybe if we play same formation use JET as the front midfielder top of the diamond if you like with Sandro and either Fer or Luongo behind him, especially now JET seems to have upped his work rate without the ball, very important that.

JET has done ok since coming into the team but home games v Bolton and MK Dons are not bad opposition to be playing to ease yourself in. Chaz has carried the burden for 2 seasons and the season of promotion our automatic hopes went when he got injured. Should walk back in as he is our main man and was in great nick before his injury.

The thing is they would be a handful and Brentford wouldn't be able to play high up the pitch and push more players from midfield forward as they would be worried about Jet & Charlie getting in behind them

it won't happen against Brentford I'm not sure Austin ready to return any how Ramsey will go safe,h e doesn't want to lose to them, it could be the end if he does? Also he will be the first Rs manager to lose to them in 50years

Couldn't agree more. These two up front will be lethal, and made to play to our strengths wich is attack. It will also mean we can put pressure further up the pitch to keep the opposition away from our penalty area more. I also think part of our problems with leaking goals this season is due to having the midfield crowded means midfielders are working in each others offices wich can cause hesitation and confusion. But mainly as said above, concentrating playing to our strengths will minimize our defensive short-commings.
