Hi guys, I am new to this forum, mainly because I'm not even a QPR fan per se (Hope I won't get banned in a heartbeat now for this little disclaimer!). The reason why I'm paying you a visit is Mass and only Mass himself, as he's very high on our SandalsForGoalposts list of Top 100 Asians of 2015 and I wanted to check on him -- how he's doing in a new environment.
Some interesting remarks have been made over here. I'm obviously not surprised many of you highlight his incredible poise and vision on the ball, or how he doesn't tend to hide. There are still some other things, though, that I would like to pinpoint, challenge or perhaps get an answer to:
1) I'm quite stunned by the repeating claims he's wasted higher up the field. A free-ish AM role was exactly what made him a continental star in the first place. He may not be the most capable shooter, but he surely can produce a final pass -- 15 created chances and 4 assists at the Asian Cup being a clear testament to that. That said, I think I can see the reason behind your different perception: the Socceroos have a fine, solid pair in Milligan and Jedinak to back him (and Mooy) up, and at one point even tried out a diamond, while QPR probably can't afford such luxury. Plus Postecoglou demands and cultivates high-level passing game, whereas you make it sound like Luongo is by and far the most reliable ball distributor on the team; hence you need him deeper down the pitch.
2) When I mentioned his assists / chances created at the Cup, I should add some of them stemmed from corner kicks, his distinct specialty. Does he get to take them at QPR too, or not as yet? If I'm not wrong, Tozser is also a dead ball specialist, right?
3) I saw him being described here as quick -- again, that oddly enough seems to be in stark contrast with the Socceroos practice, where one aspect he's being continually slammed for is his stamina / laziness / physical condition. He doesn't really engage in the whole pressing thing, even though it's an essential part of Australian blueprint. How active are QPR in this respect?
4) While he may not be too influential in front of the goal, I'm wondering -- isn't his absence at direct fault for your current inability to score a single goal? And why the hell isn't he starting in the first place? He clearly isn't injured, as his recent workload for Australia suggests.
That'd be it. Sorry for invading your forum again and cheers for any additional thoughts.

Welcome fantomas. I'd go along with most people's assessments in this thread. To answer a couple of your questions:
