With Clint, I actually took a look at this to see if it would be affected. I took a look at average player positions in every home game this season plus the huddersfield match where we kept a clean sheet. Generally the home matches will show a more accurate representation of what we should expect to see. I actually saw that the height of the defensive line wasn't at all affected when clint was playing. Its extremely weird because I'd expect him to play deeper but he was generally in the middle third of the pitch. I think its because he reads the game so well, especially at this level where players are very predictable in how they are going to attack.
My genuinely preffered formation would be a 352 with Mass and Phillips wide, Sandro, Fer and Chery in the middle and Charlie and JET up front, with Ned, Hall and Hill in defence but I feel like it is going to limit the potential of people like Mass and Fer to really change games and it would stop Phillips even more from creating chances.
