what I'm getting at is the hand wringing that seems to be happening as if we don't deserve a bit of luck.....
argue back and forth all you like................remember bolton away in the prem?...some bloke in an orange shirt scored a great header, but the t**t of a ref never saw it crossed the line

Right time to see. I managed to cut the footage down and slow it down first shot to 0.25 times the speed of original, then to 20% of that and then to 10% of it. You can clearly, 100% percent see in the last one that contact is made. That is absolute fact there. No parallel universe bs, no bad defending, just an incredible stretch to reach the ball and just about make enough contact to pull it away from the striker. If you are gonna first suggest that I'm wrong, make sure you have validated proof that you're right. Here's mine:

And now that you are very much wrong, I await you then going and saying something like I have no life or whatever for doing this but to be honest, I don't really care. Enjoy.

Hey, listen, I'm not into all of that 'get a life' ########, I'm just looking at basic facts fella. And I did watch it slowed down, as you suggested. And on the version you've posted, I still don't see how on earth you can say 100% Clint got the ball. For a start, his foot is behind the ball as the camera views it, so the only way you can possibly tell whether he touched it or not is to look at the trajectory of the ball. If you watch the trajectory of the ball, to me, it doesn't look like it changes, so as far as I'm concerned, he didn't get the ball. So please don't talk about 'validated proof' Nasser, because you don't have any, all you have is a personal opinion, same as me.

Spot on. I just like watching Clint Hill. In slow motion footage.

Dave, whether we deserve a bit of luck or not is a different issue. And I for one am more than happy that Sir Clint did not get a red card and that we didn't concede two clear penalties in that game.

                  • Not wishing to row for the sake of it but let's assume he did get a touch it's still a foul as after the ball goes does he not pull him down by the foot????

                    • He kicked his hand west.......no foul

                      • I think with that footage he clearly gets a shade of the ball.

A great tackle it is not tho, very very high risk and for me he brings the guy down intentionally AFTER he gets a touch stopping him going through on goal. Still a defo red card tho (IMO).

it wasn't a red card fact! ask the ref. read the reports. why do our fans want this negative aspect put on what on the whole was a motm performance from Clint?

                            • Fantastic bit of footage Nasser. Even looking at that I cannot be absolutely certain but it would seem to favour you being correct. I can only assume that as the referee could not be 100% sure either, particularly with one live view only, that he made the correct call. He is supposed to be certain in order to give a foul and card, isn't he?

Wind it back Dave, course it wasn't a red card and I'm literally in love with Clint Hill so don't worry about that..... Just I reckon that's a red. IMO
