may well have not had training that day. I am not defending the bloke, but everyone is quick to jump down his throat, claiming he needs rehab and that type of help where as actually this type of behavior seems common place throughout the footballing world. Doesn't make it right, but lets calm down a bit here.

A certain Mr Barton had a far more extensive troublesome past and some people still talk about him as if he was a hero of the people.

This. Persistent and consistent. Unlike Joey the only place Caulker doesn't do his fighting is on the football field. Plum. We're well rid of him. It's criminal we ever brought him.

How on earth can Caulker be compared to Tony Adams???

think a lot of clubs often have the Monday off or it is really light work.

Like i say, not defending his performances on the pitch as he was not up to the standard required. Only point is people need to take a step back and think about what they are saying in regards to this rehab and "he needs help". At 23 a few nights out on the lash is hardly anything to get worked up about.

I live close to esher and have had a few stories similar to this. Stinks of arrogance and ego, but wouldnt suggest the bloke needs rehab like some on here are suggesting.

I remember what i was doing at 23 and this incident sounds like it would have been a quiet night for me.

think he will be a decent player once he matures and if he can lose this ego he seems to have,
I have heard a few stories like this before, add to that the public one's smashing his head open
at a lunchtime drink, I want this kid to work out, but the loner it is dismissed as youthful folly the bigger the problem becomes!

We can all have a few nights on the lash, but when, more often than not, it ends up in violence or you falling over drunk, when does it become a problem? When only Cardif and QPR will sign you, with the talent he's got, that has to tell you something.

I have seen this lad play for Bristol City, Swansea, Spurs and England he was a good player, something has gone wrong.

I really hope this guy pulls himself together, he really has all the tools to be a top class CB, I feel we should have kept him and put him in a recovery programme, we have invested £8m plus wages, we can't just push the problem onto someone else and hope they can sort it! Caulker is our investment, we have to terminate his loan in Jan and give him the help he needs as a person and a club investment!!!

But this is 2015, not 1975 and he is clearly not delivering on the pitch.

Ok, so in 2015, at the age of 23 you should now become a recluse and not leave your house?

Personally don't know if he is delivering for Southampton or not. Not kept a close enough eye, but last update was he played a few cup games?

If your nightouts end up in the papers or tend to cause rumours, something must be wrong IMO.

Good athlete but a shite footballer and an absolute muppet off the pitch.

Completely overrated, doesn't have half the talent or potential attributed to him. Spurs are the best selling club in this country.

30 odd years ago my nights out often ended up in Hammersmith nick til Monday morning, followed by a a ride in a sweatbox to West London court for a £50 fine off the beak Mr Crowler.
