The mysterious godlike status of Alejandro Faurlin

Dont have a problem with Faurlin other than i think Huddersfield away his form has been nothing special, at fault for the 2nd goal at Fulham really poor pass on the edge of our box, dont think he's ever fulfilled his potential due to the injuries he's sustained, and his contract renewal should've been pay as you play,

Originally posted by MattyRangers View PostVery odd thread. Yes, Ale is liked by the fans (me included) but I fail to see this "God like status" talked about? Hardly thread after thread started in his honour.
He obviously isn't the player he once was, after 3 ACLs that is hardly surprising. It's pretty incredible he si still playing at all after such injuries tbh, massively admire his attitude and determination.
That said though, he is hardly a carthorse now, I mean ffs he was (by all accounts) our best player vs Hull! Terrible game vs Fulham (along wit every single other player so not saying much). Really don't think he warrants a thread started to dig him out, he is far from our worst player. Christ, he isn't even anywhere near our worst CM, let alone player.
Still has enough about him to be in & around the 1st team for sure - would have him above Henry & Toszer all day long.
Serious question here, has the OP ever made one of his threads praising qpr or anything to do with them?
As I have definitely never seen one, only constant coat offs.

I do see the OP point of view as have had many discussions similar to his opinion before games this season but sometimes a player comes along who just connects with a club and Ale is one of those players. He certainly fits in with Ramseys seemingly style of play too hence why he got a new contract, which nobody knows the details of, so he may be on a much reduced wage. He clearly loves the club and after all that have come and gone in last 4 years I like the fact Ale is still with the club.

Crazy post. Faurlin is liked and respected at Qpr after all the crap he's been through with injuries over the last few years, to be back playing is testament to the blokes courage... Factor in he's one of our best players even 50% fit and generally a top bloke, I really don't get the bad vibe.
As for god-like status? please? What a load of bull.

It seems that being liked by fans because of his loyalty to the club is wrong judging by the OP.
Injuries have hampered his ability, without those injuries he would be, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the best centre mids we have had in years, perhaps ever. It's a shame he did get injured. But there was a time long serving players were well liked by rangers fans. Maddix? Hill? Ainsworth? None particularly great players, but all thought of very highly. Not sure where the whole "god-like status" thing comes from. Perhaps just a phrase for the OP to bash Faurlin.Top Scorers 2018/2019

Very harsh Post
Faurlin has come back from 3 ACL injuries, is clearly still trying to regain his confidence and build up his strength and match practice. 3 serious injuries, anyone would be playing with fear of breaking down again. I think in a few months people will be eating their words.
He plays with a passion, loves the club, and if it wasnt for the ACLs I have no doubt he would be playing for a spurs level type of team. He adds a balance to the team, great range of passing and can win a tackle.
Player of the season in his first year and instrumental in the year we went up.
