Yep, think most fans actually like Chris as a person. And this is not a knee jerk reaction Briatore style. Personally I was surprised he was given the job after relegation as didn't see how he had improved things but was prepared to accept we were doing things in a new way and he was the one to do it. Well this is now his squad and it is obvious to anyone who has spent any time watching us over the years that the players aren't playing for him. Yes they all apparently like him but a manager also needs to be respected, even feared. Is Ramsey?

Agree. It's what's he's meant to be good at after all.

I agree the set up is ridiculous. It's like mates, not business associates. Bolton at home will be a horror show for them all if we play badly.
Great post. I'd love to know if CR REALLY was the famous 'dream manager'.

I'd say no. How could you respect a man football wise who's never managed yet he's in his 50's

Have always been behind without being convinced.

Last night was the culmination of a series of awful perfomances. Bloke has had ages in the hotseat, got his own players in and it looks like we're going backwards.

Like has been mentioned, maybe get him back in charge of the kids, then Les and TF can save a bit of face.... But please, appoint someone who knows what the hell they are doing.

I backed him until yesterday. Now I can't stand him.

                    The fans have turned.

And let's be honest here, it's not after one game. Many of us, including myself have backed CR from day one, regardless if he was the 'right man' or not, but the football is dire, the tactics poor & it looks as though the players are not exactly busting a gut for him.

Depending on results today we could be 15th or 16th in the league. Absolutely abysmal for the squad we possess.

I've seen many like myself, who backed him on social media today have finally turned against him.

When that happens, it's very hard to reverse.

If he's not sacked by the next game, he literally needs to win every game. Even draws now would not stop the tide of resentment against him.

                    Tick tock
                    Agree with all of that!

Like you I backed him and like you I called for patience but enough is enough. You can't get humiliated like that by our biggest local rivals after all of the players we've brought in. Don't mind if Ramsey stays as a coach but we need to start thinking about getting someone more experienced in to run things, sharpish!

                      We

we have been playing dross but scoring goals and nicking results a very bad combination that leads to complacency then you hit a brickwall that's what has happened , Ramsey isn't up to the task of turning it round believe me we are in trouble

                        Dead man walking now.

£12m down the drain (offer for Charlie) if we don't go up this season.

Jimmy has got it pretty much spot on, I think most of us were backing CR and yesterday was the day it turned. Not only was it live on SKY but against the Fools, he was clueless and looked completely lost and out of his depth. I can't see it change now unless he goes on a 4 to 5 game winning run, as it's been said draws will not be good enough now.

If this loss has given him a kick up the backside and we get that winning run, I'm sure myself and many others will get behind him again. Problem is they must be convincing wins, not lucky wins.

This is another reason giving him the manager's job was a bad idea. He'll not want to go back to coaching our youth
team, and you can't blame him. Would be a complete loss of face, and humiliating.
Where as, if left where he was doing his job we would have a happy academy boss, and maybe not have youth teams regularly hammered

I'd like to know one thing. How the hell did he pass the tactical assessment part of his coaching badges? I've seen nothing to convince me he did.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

hard to disagree with any of that jimmy boy. i was one that was willing to give him a chance but looking at it after last night its hard to see where he can ignite the passion in the changing room to reverse our present fortunes. he really does seem to offer very little in any tactics/subs etc when needed. its been said on here many times about the squad we have and its potential to achieve in this division this season so although the focus is on ramsey some of those players should hang their heads after the way they didnt play last nite. the only one that played was the 12th man...the fans-fair play.
