      Straight from the horse's mouth...

Best season (in terms of goals scored) he's had in his professional career was with Burnley when he scored 28 goals as, yes wait for it........A LONE STRIKER.

But...but the experts on here are adamant he can't play the lone striker role...

          And this one's for Vesps:

Charlie saying Ale Faurlin is the most important MF at the the club. Re-iterating previous quotes by Barton and Derry saying Ale was the best MF they ever played with.

My grandad didn´t like any Norwegians. He´d experienced one bad episode with one Norwegian in his entire life, I think.

I bet they weren't lumping it up to his head, if that is the case .

This season is his best career start to a season too.

But yes, I know you believe everything is CR's fault

Didn't he score 20 goals in 17 games for Burnley at the start of one season?

Yea recently he banged in his 20th goal of the season in November - the fastest player on Europe at the time to reach 20. The boy is a goal machine.

Nobody can argue with his goals and from what I have seen so far he has worked on his link up play. He still struggles with direct balls from the back but we should play to his strengths as he is our matchwinner

When Burnley beat us in the champs, their style of play then was based on whipping in fast crosses on the run with defenders in disarray. That would have suited Charlie. Direct balls from the back are only good for players with strength, dribbling or pace, none of which are his strong points. Reactions yes.

Particularly by Kieran Trippier whom Austin rates as the best set-piece specialist he's ever played with - as he stated on the same podcast.
