I can SEE GP being made chairman and Amit taking the position of Flavio. (again just a hunch) Flavio will remain at the club with smaller sharholding in the club. This way, the football league would be happy.
im sure all the usual suspects wont be happy with gianni as chairman

Sure, but the title of sporting director was given to him.

Pre-season all the football league chairmen had a big conference, who went? Well, not Flavio Briartore..

He was chairman before and for football related issues, he has to be named chairman if Flavio is forced to reduce his shareholding. Its logical, as Amit and others have outside interests, like him or not Gianni is the only person that is at the club 24/7.

Do you think its possible that the club will bring in a new director of football if Gianni becomes chairman, would imagin the extra workload for GP would be too much.

So speculation and supposition rather than an inside track.

Thats ok but why not say what you have to say up front rather than start a thread with just a couple of smileys.

Yes that's right, can't expect him to run the club, the business, the admin, player contract negotiations AND rushing here and there scouting as well.

That's all turned out good then.
