        in the early 80s loftus rd , was the stadium...astroturf and near all seated and good crowds,good football and a good future....talk was of a roof
        we had a great youth set up and won cups often.

          Not allowed to take in bottles of pop with the lids on incase you wish to throw your half time refreshment at an under performing player.

          Yeah, like sitting in the Upper Ellerslie Road Stand I'm going to launch a bottle of pop with the same velocity and accuracy as a Scud Missile.

          Also, Stewards not allowed to take pictures of you with your own kids inside the stadium. Got told this on my last visit with my son. No reason given. :very_sad:

              No poncy pre warm ups......stadium packed with still half n hour before kickoff, and having banter with away fans....

                That great song they played as the players ran out of the tunnel, circa '75/76...still have no idea what it was but would love to hear it again.
