That was mad and cost us big time, he should have banged that in no questions asked. But he is certainly one of our better players, workshard & always wants the ball. Done more than most yesterday. Would be way down my list of players to start a thread about to dig out.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Agree, from Upper Loft front row,
I think the problem was his 1st touch, the ball stayed under his feet which stopped him getting a 'proper' shot in. So with the defender bearing down he chose to pass it to Mackie who was in space 5 yards away. The pass was as poor as the shot 'may' have been.
TBF to him, he was absolutely gutted and punched the ground in despair.
Even Mackie didn't have the heart to slate him.
