My stance on Briatore

You might think that the 'project' has been a failure, but then perhaps you honestly believed the "Champions League in 4 years" spin. As far as I am concerned our position now is light years ahead of where we were prior to the takeover. I am happy that we are looking 'up' at the top six positions with a real chance of actually getting there, maybe this year, maybe next. It is a whole lot better than fighting relegation.

Yes they have made mistakes on the transfer front and given out some contracts that in hindsight were rash, but in my opinion they now realise that they are better off with fewer quality players such as Watson than a quantity of average players.

Some very true words there fella. Amazing how short some people's memory is! Bring back Danny Cullip, Zesh Rainman, Daniel Nardiello, Shabaz Baidoo, Armel Takiwhothefeek, Olieshi, Mr Drink N Drive, Marc Nyygard and Co I say.
