So we didn't have a £2m price already agreed?

    That's clever.
    Your mum would love me...

Yes, he's a top player and this is the sort of player we should be buying. We could build a good team around him IMO.

No brainer - one of the best in this division, and we should do whatever possible to sign him.

Pete, did you not say that a fee had already been agreed? Might be me getting mixed up though :waaaht:

a must if we are serious about promotion/playoffs this term

would send a real statement of intent towards the fans and keep them onside and go a bit towards improving the dire atmosphere at home
Win or lose, on the booze

                  Of course.

Watson, Hooper and/or Simeon Jackson, and a left back... I'd be satisfied with that.

                  Or am I being greedy?

                    No.

We can all see what we need.

But what we will be able to afford then is the vital question.
We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are...

He's not worth more than what Wigan paid for him back in January. Why would we be prepared to pay £2.5m for him now but we wouldn't stretch to £2m back in August 2008?

As SIRPIECHUCKER said, why should we pay more than the £2m Wigan paid for him when he can't get into their team?? Whilst I would like to sign him permanently,a quality striker is more important if we're to improve this season over last.

so we didnt agree a fee as part of the loan deal? great. wigan could value him at 5 million if they wanted. anyway, we'll be out bid by a club with more ambition than ours.

definately buy him. We have been a differnt side with him in the team. Sort out the strikers and let back (borrowdale is ok, but not the next level) and we will be challenging for promotion
