  • Rory Fallon At Plymouth

Probably free in January, would stick my neck out and say worth getting.

The kind of player we need, good in the air and will score goals.

You know you are going to get a bucket load of stick for that Pete! The fact he is free won't help either.

I DO agree that he is the KIND of player we need but not sure he is the one.

              ^^^^^

Absolutely. The TYPE of player we need. However, I'd prefer a slightly younger, more mobile version personally. Oh and one that can get into a Championship side and, very important this, in fact, so important I'll shout it....

              ONE THAT CAN SCORE GOALS.

nb - this may cost cash. Sorry Gianni

                  Pete

This is the very exact and defining moment when you finally, finally lost the plot.

Is this the same Rory Fallon who was bombed out of Swansea's third tier team for not being good enough or did a new one appear somewhere.

Not being funny, but you are advocating Lee Barnard who plys his trade at Southend United after being let go by Tottenham.

Not a bad shout, but nor is Fallon .We need someone who can head the ball.

Watching Tarrabt, Ageymang and Vine try to head the ball, is unbearable to watch.

I think we do need a target man, but surely we can aim a little higher than Rory Fallon?

I'm not against us signing players for free (or relatively cheap), but they have to be the RIGHT one... and simply put I don't think that Fallon is.

It sounds like the club will stump up the cash for Watson - tremendous move if they can pull it off, and credit to the club for putting the wheels in motion.

I would just love them to do the same with a decent young striker, and make a real signal of intent. Vokes from Wolves would be ideal... and quite possibly available.

HOLD ON A MINUTE, Nodge gave Barnard and I'm giving Fallon as an alternative, I THINK HE WOULD DO WELL>

I dont think a striker who cant even get into one of the weakest teams in the league is going to be good enough to help us make the playoffs.

He has been injured. I'm not bad at advocating players, having metioned Simpson some time ago
