Pete, he's crap and this is obviously who we're going for as we've been linked in the past. When there are players like Harewood and King available, looking at Fallon who can't make plymouths team who incidentally are the worst in the league, it stinks of pathetic desperation and you know it. What's more hillarious is that you firstly said our strikers were good enough and now you want to add one you go for a striker who really is average. I'd sooner have Heider and Dex back.

We might as well stick with Pellicori than Fallon IMO.

Actually, think Sousa was interested last season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pull the other one, it's GP who was after him last season and by the way you're going on it is him after fallon again. I have watched enough of him to confidently say he is a run of the mill average league one player

Nope, got my own understanding of footballers. I mentioned Simpson who was not a bad shout and sometimes you have to take the blinkers of and see what we are lacking. A centre forward who can win headers and he is one of the best in this league.

The reason why he didn't play was because of injuries and he has not got a great relationship with beefy Sturrock.

Qprjim, your wrong, don't think GP wants him, more importantly JM doesn't. Though, know Gorman likes him as a player

There you go trying to make out you know more than every other fan about football. You're an impossible mate to defend these days and your annoying snipes make me less inclined to do so. If you'd rather Fallon over King or Harewood, you need help.

He's better than Pellicori or Agyemang... but we could surely get better than him.?!
15 goals in 100 games for PAFC.

Why not hungrier players from leagues below? Lambert from Bristol Rovers would have been ideal, but went to Saints for £1m... banging them in.
I like the idea of Gary Hooper, or Simeon Jackson, both really "on the up" as strikers.

But we still need a big strong centre forward, but I'd rather see us go for someone like Marlon King, Lee Barnard, or Grant Holt at Norwich.
That's assuming we wont splash out big money.

If we did splash big, then Rob Earnshaw or Fryatt from Leicester.

But then, I clearly don't watch enough football to qualify for an opinion... so I'll bow to Petes endless knowledge.

So its pure coincedence that both Sousa and Magilton have shown interest in him?

Anyways thats besides the point the fact is he is 2bob, we should've opted for Adebola when we had the chance

In hindsight, I would have got Adebola in too.

Amazingly, some were against his signing, he would have been ideal.

Not a bad shout, but nor is Fallon .We need someone who can head the ball.

Watching Tarrabt, Ageymang and Vine try to head the ball, is unbearable to watch.
Barnard's scored more goals at Southend in half a season than Fallon has in the past 3 seasons, but granted, aerially he isn' that powerful.

If we need someone to head the ball and that we're so short of cash that we're touting freebie rubbish from Plymouth, why not just play Damion Stewart up front? Seriously. Blackburn do it with Samba and it wouldn't cost us anything on wages or signing on fees. Given his size, Agyemang should be better in the air than he is. Surely our coaches would be looking at that?

Presumably given "interest" in this particular donkey - coincidentally "interesting" all 3 of our previous managers, has a fee been agreed with Watford for Helgusson in January???

Sometimes, you have to look at the club he is at.

Anyone that went to Plymouth V QPR, would know that apart from Hooper this season, he is the one player who caused our defence problems.

Thought Aaron McLean caused far more problems than those two put together tbh

So Pete, you agree we need a striker? Most do.

And the answer is a bloke who's scored 15 goals in 100 games for the weakest team in the league?
And yet you totally dismiss a bloke who's regulary banging them in for Southend, purely on the basis that Southend are in a league below, and he wasn't good enough for a place at Tottenham??

                                Ok. :waaaht:
