Nope, got my own understanding of footballers. I mentioned Simpson who was not a bad shout and sometimes you have to take the blinkers of and see what we are lacking. A centre forward who can win headers and he is one of the best in this league.

The reason why he didn't play was because of injuries and he has not got a great relationship with beefy Sturrock.

Why not hungrier players from leagues below? Lambert from Bristol Rovers would have been ideal, but went to Saints for £1m... banging them in.
I like the idea of Gary Hooper, or Simeon Jackson, both really "on the up" as strikers.

But we still need a big strong centre forward, but I'd rather see us go for someone like Marlon King, Lee Barnard, or Grant Holt at Norwich.
That's assuming we wont splash out big money.

If we did splash big, then Rob Earnshaw or Fryatt from Leicester.

Not being funny, but you are advocating Lee Barnard who plys his trade at Southend United after being let go by Tottenham.

Not a bad shout, but nor is Fallon .We need someone who can head the ball.

Watching Tarrabt, Ageymang and Vine try to head the ball, is unbearable to watch.

Barnard's scored more goals at Southend in half a season than Fallon has in the past 3 seasons, but granted, aerially he isn' that powerful.

If we need someone to head the ball and that we're so short of cash that we're touting freebie rubbish from Plymouth, why not just play Damion Stewart up front? Seriously. Blackburn do it with Samba and it wouldn't cost us anything on wages or signing on fees. Given his size, Agyemang should be better in the air than he is. Surely our coaches would be looking at that?

Presumably given "interest" in this particular donkey - coincidentally "interesting" all 3 of our previous managers, has a fee been agreed with Watford for Helgusson in January???
