I think people are defending the club about last night or even not over reacting about last night because they have different priorities. If we perform well in the league (which we aren't doing too badly) then this will be forgotten. Also the fact that team that lost last night had 10 changes to it from Saturday so isnt anything close to our strongest side and indicates the clubs priorities this season. If we were struggling in the league and then played a 2nd string last night and were knocked out then I think there would be more uproar but we are in the playoff places and recently beat Wolves away (who were preseason favs) so being knocked out of the mickey mouse cup isnt such a big deal. If you really wanted a cup run then i get why you are unhappy about last night but some people really aren't bothered about cup runs especially in the league cup

so what ? why should we follow them more reason to try and win it ? also this not bothering about cups has really paid off ?

The money spent is not a debt and we are not being asked to pay it, we are sixth in the division and one last minute goal away from third. We are scoring for fun and this league is really exciting and competitive so being in it a season or two isnt the end of the world. I cant see any reason to moan about anything mate, and im being honest. You are worrying about things that have no bearing on us as supporters whatsoever, and you are just yourself wind up by doing so.
Mac that game last night would have been more benificial to the 1st choice and should have been used as a competetive work out for for the
1st choice players , surely you can see we are far from the finished article as a team , with the imminent sale of C A and possibley Phillips we
will likely be bringing in another 3 or so players for the 1st choice and they will need come into a well organised settled side this is what Ramsey fails to grasp , fannying about with fringe players before he has his league side functioning

And then a long midweek trip to liverpool to get hammered and humiliated would of hindered us even more dog mate.

              Just wondering like
I was talking about going out in the cup to a lower league side, I know nothing about their finances. Just saying there was absolutely no meltdown last week when we won back to back games, but our second string loses a cup game and everyone loses their minds. The same question about meltdowns applies to any team that lost to lower league opposition last night.

I get the impression its a culmination of issues at QPR, not merely losing a cup game. That was my point. People have a right to be bemused and frustrated at how things are. Yet another low point on top of the other 1000 things.

Sounds like your saying these good young players that the club brought in havent got the ambition or confidence to want to pit their wits against top player

And i also would bet Watford would of loved the chance to be relegated from the prem twice in last three years to be honest.
Do you think they'd of monumentally f ucked it up TWICE like we did? No because they are run a hell of a lot better. How much money has our owners lost? Its shocking.

[QUOTE=Kevin Mcleod;1458796]Gone up twice and stayed up once three out of five times , so yeah say it has.[/QUOT

massively in debt been riped of by many journey man players.Masive fin pos hanging over our heads and now got a tough season ahead, poor youth system out of the cup again to a lower team suceess pos but not consistently my point get the winning mentally it spreads out through the whole club. Not the roll over and give up because we are so blinkered on the league also i know that it is all money but i would give a season like last for a cup win !

ps success in my book is not the odd moment it is first having a strong base which moments of success but you need the strong base not burn money for a couple of seasons with the big boys plus isnt this what TF and CR are trying to do now ?

Ranger you do know its common knowledge the massive fine is peanuts dont you?

Let me try a different angle at all you tony out debt mob.
Your best pal wins the lottery, and takes you round the world and gives you the best day of your entire life during said trip round the world yeah, then you find out it cost him a hundred grand but your skint and hes rich and he would never ever ever ever want nor expect a penny for taking you on this trip.
Would you then coat him off non stop for spending all that dough? Saying hes screwed you over, you didnt even want to go cos one day it rained etc etc etc?
Its not a 'debt', its 'money spent', and we have had three years in the prem and two promotions from the championship and the best day out in all our lives, but lets all moan about how much those billionaires have spent of their own money eh. Its amazing it really is. Stop worrying how other people spend their dough, its really not a nice trait and leads to self loathing and misery in the cases ive seen.

Fair enough mate, but to me there was absolutely none of this nonsense last week when we got 7 points from 9. It all blew up last night which is why I took it as a reaction to the cup loss.
