I can understand it was frustrating for those who attended this game today, but the Rangers have consistently treated these non-league competitions as exhibitions and tryouts for a bunch of non-first team players. I don't blame CR for resting regulars; and it's not fair to compare us to Chelsea and others whose third team could probably win the Championship. IMO, the jury is out on both Polter and JET which, if Charlie actually stays, becomes less relevant given we may soon have fastest, most feared midfield in the Championship. If Charlie goes, all bets are off, with or without a Gayle or similar caliber player.

That performance was really poor.thought when I looked at the team when I got there that we would play a high tempo game pressing high up the pitch.now know that isn't Ramseys style at all does anyone know what his style of play is.it was an expremental side but all it did was prove that the youngsters that played aren't really championship class.furlong and kpekwa are ok golbern and doughty never got a grip in midfield jet win be ok cox at least tried and hoilett was his usual frustrating best.more worrying is we have no plan b as at Charlton just carried on aimlessly.

Both JET and Poulter on tonight's evidence are benchwarmers at best.
          Impressed with Kepepwa and Doughty.
Unfortunately Furlong, Smithies and Hall were poor
          Clint solid.
Poulter needs a goal badly, missed two sitters and Grego-cox also missed a sitter.
Wrong team selection, poor subs and utter contempt lost us the tie
Fair play to Carlise and their fans who made the trip.

Yes I was there, it was dire, but still can't be compared to the side we will have out on Saturday.

Every poor sod who paid to watch that utter shite should be given their money back. Completely unsurprised at the result, got what we deserved for putting out a mickey mouse team rather than using it as another game for our first team to gel and push on

Every single person who went knew what to expect. The club even publicly tried to discourage them from going by not opening any of the ground, but some people just love going to a game no matter what.

It's always the same mate. Having said that, I didn't go tonight so I probably don't share their frustration. I really thought we would win tonight.

True enough the legroom is bad. The loft lower was open I even saw some in Ellerslie, don't know how they got in there. Yeh the game was terrible, still too early to write us off though.
