  • QPR v Cardiff Coin Throwing

Did anybody who attended the first home game of the season witness or was hit by coins thrown by the Cardiff fans about 15 minutes from the end?
If so, can you let me know? Not concerned about the incident outside the ground just what happened in the AL Block.

Apparently towards the end some Cardiff fans started throwing coins at QPR fans. In the paddock just below where they were thrown, a steward had tried 5 times to get help or support from the senior stewarding team but it appears he was ignored. When QPR fans asked him about what was being done about it, his response was "What do you want me to do about it?"
A fellow QPR fan has made a formal complaint to the club and received a response which hasn't really addressed the problem of security for the home fans. Nobody it would seem has got a copy of the CCTV footage of the incident or recordings of the radio communications between stewards. This is now being investigated by the LBHF Council and are asking for any witnesses.

    Thanks

The Stewards sound about as useful as the bouncer that was on the door at The Green that day.

Went to the game didn't realise there was trouble. Did it kick off outside?

Hope it was the clown in the blue SI jacket with jeans that looked like they'd fit a 10 year old?

I've seen some sights at games before but he was something else! What a mug

Coin throwing is an evil and cowardly thing to do whoever it is. The club should have dived straight in and sorted this out on the day as clearly they have short memories. Reason being back in 1982 during our FA Cup run a Grimsby Town fan went to football to support his team and was blinded in one eye by a coin throwing so called QPR supporter. As you can tell this is one thing I detest !!!

Thing is if you want to have a scrap down Rangers there is enough people who will duly oblige, chucking coins at innocent fans is a cnts trick.

Letting them out at the same time was a risky one but you just know the OB where waiting for someone to make a move and smack em with a nice big ban. Took a lot to resist the desire to spin a mouthy taffy in skinny jeans mouthing off

Had my nipper with me, and as much as I want to set him a good example by weighing the geezer in I thought best to leave it.
