          Remember being on route to Burnley for the away game and having just reached Birmingham when news broke. Car back to London was silent

                Worrying days those were. His sudden death, uncertainty about takeover negotiations with the club on the brink of another administration or liquidation even, culminating in that first home match with a tribute to him and the announcement that we would be getting new owners and a new lease of life after all. Bu the rollercoaster ride was just beginning...

                          R.I.P Ray I often wonder how good this kid could have been and how far he could of gone in the game,personally think he would of made it to the top.
