If he signs a new deal, I would only put a 15m release clause if we don't get promoted, if we go up all clauses end, or it would be another Remy.
I'm sick of all this poor Charlie he deserves to be in the prem nonsense, he's our player until we decide otherwise. He should've re-signed for 60k in January and put a relegation clause in, he didn't, tough s###.

It's Les who will want him sold as it will impact on his budget and who he can and can't bring in, so as far as he's concerned CR is saying all the right things.

There is no was chaz is under valued . The club are putting a price on his head that is very fair , if people don't want to pay it then that's tough #### . If Andre Gray can go for 9 million after one good season in the championship them surely Charlie is worth A LOT more as he does it every season no matter what division he's in . If any thing I'd say he's under valued .

Also not sure any of his rivals have scored 4 in 4 so far this season.

15 million pounds in anyone's book.

Lets face it, how much we sell him for is down to how the the owners want to risk losing and put on him staying and us getting promotion.

15m is not over priced the guys a natural born goal machine, the best i have seen since Clive Allen, teams like AV, WH, Norwich, Newcastle, Spudulikes, Bournmouth and Everton in desperate need for.

That dosnt include other clubs that i think have goals in the team but want to improve like CP etc..

Beefing him up and putting him the shop window like CR and Les do, are doing it to show a) CA that we will sell you as u want if the right offer comes in, 2) to the bidding clubs the owners are prepared to right off £15m v £100m gamble and try and get repromoted on the back of his goals.

Its up to you - As for CA being up set and fuming i have not seen that in his performances and if he is he needs to remember after the Hull transfer break down due to a failed medical that we have helped him get to the prem and achieve his ambitions.

At the moment its a game of poker between QPR and bidding clubs who blinks first - do we accept less or hold out true to our word and risk losing 15m, or do the clubs that need him pay it.

            All good fun

I hope the targets we want have already been contacted incase Austin is off next week. wonder how much the board will give us to re invest in the squad? If all of it then surely Gayle and Dunk would be our main targets.

So I guess Charlie boy its championship football for you this season then and if I was chairman he wouldnt be allowed to dictate price.
Spot on. He should just get on with it.

doubt he'll sign any new deal with a release clause. he's probably not happy about how all of this has been handled and wants to play at the highest level. we can maybe smooth out the handling stuff, but we can't give any guarantees about promotion.

we all know this saga is going to drag on until the end of the transfer window, when it'll be a "who blinks first" thing... we'll get a couple of offers at £12-13.5m on the last day by clubs that reckon we'll do deals. maybe we will, maybe we won't, but what worries me is, if we do deal, will we have time to sort out the incoming players?

As I have said before 15m is under valuing Charlie, all those interested clubs have had long enough, tell them, as he has scored 4 goals and is top scorer in the top two divisions so his price has gone up another 5m and from Wednesday on is not for sale at any price, end of!

the thing is... our owners have thrown millions at the club and continue to fund it while it probably continues to run at a loss. no one should throw their toys out of the pram if they decide to cash in on charlie a, they are due a bit of relief after 4 years. it's quite easy for us to say, tell them to do one... pass up £15m... invest at least another £20m... etc, because it's not actually our money.

For me it totally depends on what the club are prioritising right now. If they aim for immediate promotion then by all means stop talking about him and refuse to sell, but the far more likely scenario which is that the club are looking to make a tidy profit from him to help the club tow the line with FFP then they want someone to pay that money

Apparently he wants to stay in London which only really leaves West Ham and Crystal Palace. The Chairman of West Ham questioned his fitness last week (possibly in the hope of getting the price down). Not sure how interested Crystal Palace is.

Watford could also be a possiblity. Hope not, though.
