His body language was not that of a player keen to hang around. After we scored the first goal he could barely even smile, even though it owed much to his excellent lay off. Almost as if it was a training match. It was almost as if he was saying "after the Prem, scoring a goal in the Champ isn't worth anything." Hope I'm wrong but that was what I picked up.

Think Charlie thinks prem football gives him a chance of hijacking a England spot next year that's why he's so desperate.

As for deserving a move, well, I do agree that he is a Premier League player who has been a consummate professional for us through this (which sets him apart from most footballers!), but, that said, he did sign the contract to play for us for three years - and reached his current status via the opportunity that we gave him.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

Did a lap at the end clapping all the fans, not sure if he's done this every game but looked pretty certain that he's off to be honest. That along with the fact that he took the penalty to add to his goalscoring tally (and increase his chances of a move) rather than let chery complete a hat trick.

Phillips and Austin on the other hand are bound to be subject to a couple of bids. I have a horrible feeling both will go on deadline day!
