Thanks for the heads upI blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

No issues here; more than happy to drop the admin tag for a bit and jump onto he slug out section; maybe we can do it as a sponsored slug out with all proceeds going towards a mental health charity?Minds Are Like Parachutes.

In doing so, not only do some people that until now have only used traditional betting sites now have another option if they choose to have a flutter, but because of their association with QPR, they have offered to waive any commission they would ordinarily have earned from our members who have had a bet on a Rangers match.
In addition to this, they very kindly in my opinion, offered our posters a chance to win a couple of match tickets as a goodwill gesture. They didn't have to do that and it certainly wasn't something we asked them to do.
If you happen to be anti-gambling due to situations you have found yourself in or have affected people you know and care about, then that is totally your perogative to do so. And full respect to you for your views. But the fact is that all the while we as a forum are happy to have them involved on here, they should not have to put up with digs from anybody.
If you see that as me having a go at you or ganging up on you, then I'm sorry, but you are wrong.

Hopefully in the near future we'll be able to buy tickets and give them away as prizes for each home game, but we do need everyone's support.

Delighted you had a good day out Ed and thank you for doing the write up of your day - like Smarkets, you didn't have to do it, but the decent folk tend to do the right thing more often than the not so decent#standuptocancer

Also please point me to the thread where the Smarkets guy claimed to represent a 'charitable bunch'?
If this offends you so much, place it on ignore, this is one of our clubs official sponsors and should expect a little bit of respect from the supporters of the team they sponsor.
And for the record, I don't gamble nor have I ever gambled, but I am very happy these guys are on board and reaching out to regular fans such as us.#standuptocancer
