Trouble is, if Charlie wants a move he is within his rights to claim that his right to employment is being deliberately blocked by the club by upping the price for him. He's an employee with certain rights, not an inanimate asset.

I hope we can offer him a deal to stay til January with options depending on our league position. Would be fantastic to see him stay!

15 million doesn't seem to be doing a to bad job of keeping the door Wolf free

What about the clubs right when we want players to go out on loan or move, they are happy to sit there with a 3 to 4 year deal and not work for it?

We won't be stopping him, we're just making things clear and he's under contract. The club be doing nothing wrong and surely he will understand this.

If we had lots of money to burn then I'd agree but we don't.

just been on the hammers messageboard, blimey they are going ballistic. Got a feeling Charlie will go there, my hope is we don't fall for their cast-offs as part of the payment
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross

You think he'll still end up going there after what's happened?

Players don't just work 90 minutes a week, or sit on a bench for 90 minutes a week. They train all week and play matches with the U21s and the developement squad. For them it's all work and it's why SWP was popular with the squad and not the supporters.

Rubbish he signed a contract willingly, not forced with an arm behind his back, so he is our asset and we can set the price we want. His right of employment is not being blocked as he is employed by us and are paying his wages as agreed so no breach of employment act has taken place. Your spouting rubbish

If I was Charlie and West Ham came in I would make Sullivan crawl to my house with his b ollocks in his mouth and an olive branch hanging out his a rse before I even gave him the steam off my p iss

No chance he's going West Ham now that cu*ty dwarf has opened his trap - I don't think he'll stay though, deadline day and someone (Tottenham for example) still desperately looking for a striker they know in Charlie they've got a proven goal scorer who is for sale.

My spuds mate said beriniho is their no1 choice and the bookies certainly back that view. I think Newcastle will come back in for him.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

There's about 7 or 8 clubs he could potentially go to which is why I think he'll leave, although the "Not wanting to move house" thing gives me hope

Should he go I'd like us to sign Jordan Rhodes, but now Blackburn have sold Gestede I doubt he'd go too

No chance Charlie going to West Ham now. Also some of the clubs previously linked have sounded a lot of doh and prob don't have another 15 mill to spend ie Newcastle, or palace...
Rumours are Charlie isn't interested in the likes of Norwich or Sunderland. WBA might be serious contenders of they sell berahinio. Also I wouldn't rule out Bournemouth. Very good little outfit, it's where he's from and personally think they will be fine this year.

Think it's 50/50 atm as not to many options around for him unless Spurs blow berahinio deal.
