I created this thread as a joke, we have a long way to go but at least we're scoring now. The defence has to be sorted or we'll blow it.
Two goals a game conceded is a big worry. Why builtd the back four around mature players instead of youngsters? Also big issue where are the replacements for Charlie and Phillips? Once they are gone the team will be considerably weaker. These lads will be sold without placements in place if the do not get a move on it. The midfield is not protecting the back four.

However pleased with the 6 points.
Spot on.
Same ol Rangers no doubt. Austin will go at the eleventh hour and we'll all be saying I knew it, except the people who run the club. If we're waiting on selling him to buy a good quality replacement we're asking for trouble.
This whole league won't settle down until 12-16 games. A few teams like us still could lose big players and it's about how you replace them. Front runners like wolves, boro, Derby and Brentford are all struggling atm worst than us.
We know we have to keep Matty and try and reinvest Charlie's money on a decent striker. We also know that we should be buying a very good cb. I would go and get dunk for 6 mill he can grow with the team and as others have said loan Simpson back. I think perch would be a decent back up player who can play anywhere across the back four.
But the club are doing well and better than a lot thought so.
First thing if you've seen all the games and think we've played well in any your deluded, our defence is still woeful 6 conceded in3 games and could have been more but for poor finishing by Cardiff and Wolves, his substitutions are questionable and I personally still don't think he's the right man for the job, and he's going to have to do a lot more to convince me, today we beat a very poor team,
We played well in patches today but totally agree about them being a poor team! They will be lucky to be out of the bottom 4. With todays team we can compete but if we lose chaz and matty then we will do well to finish in the top ten. Austin stays minimum 20-25 goals if injury free.

Totally agree dave, people going over board with a win against a very poor side who at this early stage look like they will be relegated, even wolves who I thought looked a good side were very poor on there showing today against a Cardiff team that we struggled against, very early days but I don't like the fact that ramshackle seems to be in Ferdinand's pocket and I now I know why ramshackle was given the title of coach,LF is clearly the manager.
