That's west ham out of the reckoning for Charlie then.

      Not many possibilities left surely?

I would sue the dildo chairman if I was Charlie as those comments could impact on the remainder of his career as it plants a seed in other clubs minds. Guarantee anytime fans talk about signing him they will all quote as fact he has no ligaments in his knee based solely on the #### kings ill informed comments.

If I was club I would also look to take action against him and sue for damages on grounds they have devalued an asset without evidence impacting on profitability of the club

So a player breaks his ACL in knee and is out for a year but Charlie plays week in week out without ligaments what a joke

They were talking about this on Talk$hite earlier, both Durham and pig faced Goughie said that it was bang out of order and that Charlie (or his agents) response was top notch. You can't help but like the guy...even if he does move on I wish the lad well. We love you Charlie..!

I know why he responded but I wish he hadn't, now he has revitalised his position and will now get snapped up next week in my opinion. If he scores Saturday he'll be gone by Monday and that will be a sad day

I think Austin is obviously flapping now, i'm sure he thought there would be more offers. Maybe Sullivans view is shared by a few clubs.

Clearly not leicester, who bid 12m for him previously.

It's not a secret he wants to be playing PL football though so no news there.

Who can blame him? He's conducted himself impeccably throughout this whole saga, kept his head down, not said a word and kept on doing the business for us. Absolute model pro and has thoroughly earnt his move, should he get it (I have no doubts he will).

Absolutely right Matty, just is this first sign he getting slightly anxious about moving on?

Can see what you mean, could be taken as him trying to "shout and scream" so to speak And let clubs know he is perfectly fit.

I reckon he would have a case if he wanted to sue.
