So much hate for the team on this board, it really is getting beyond a joke, if I felt the way some do about QPR about a Women I would leave the Girl and look for another!

Regards OP, doesn't Green pretty much do that after every game anyway?
Tbh it's no secret I am a massive Green fan, but if we can get a small fee for him & guarentee to have a decent young keeper replace him (namely that Southend lad) then I wouldn't be too against it. However, if we let ihm go & don't have a replacement already set to come in, we are just asking for trouble & would be suicidal, especially having already let McCarthy go.
He was the "only" player to come right over to the fans ( the rest stayed in the middle of the park and clapped in our general direction) - he jumped over the advertising hoardings, took his shirt off gave it to a lad in front row took a couple of steps back and then just clapped the Rangers fans for about 30 seconds as Greeno rang out - it did look like he was saying goodbye but I might be misinterpreting his actions - I guess only time will tell.Tony Fernandes Blue N White Army

Green wasn't paid £50k a week in all his time at West Ham and we haven't paid him that a week since he moved to us !
We have been paying him LESS than West Ham paid him. He left WHU because they wanted to slash his wage from £45k a week. We offered him closer to his (then) current wage and offered him a longer contract. Since then he's extended his contract with us, but it now included a Relegation/Championship clause. Which is probably why he'd rather return to a Premiership side, even if it is WHU.

Greeno's salary according to "celebrities money" - certainly MUCH less than I recall seeing reported by other sources over the years:
Edit: reported by Google as £2.08 million in 2012 (around £40,000 per week)Last edited by dsqpr; 20-08-2015, 09:53 PM.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. West Ham are looking to complete the re-signing of QPR goalkeeper Rob Green in time for him to play for them this weekend. The Hammers, who are without suspended keeper Adrian, would need to register Green, 35, by Friday afternoon in order for him to be available to face Bournemouth the following day.
