Well, if he didn't play that pass then the goal wouldn't happen so to me, that is an assist. To everyone within the sport, that is an assist. At the end of the day, when clubs look to sign players, they look at the numbers before anything else and what do they make of that simple pass? It was an assist.

Now, I have seen that goal on highlights, and I will stand up for Perch: Granted, it was a weak header, but surely we need some midfielders to close down the space in front of our 18 yard box?

And he did not make any assists he may have passed the ball to Matty 20yrds out before he shot and scored but that's not an assist

Yeah that's true but he should have just flicked it out for a corner or to the right of the goal, we won so who cares

There errors. Cross shouldn't have come in; Perch shouldn't have headed it where he did; Henry should've been defending the eighteen yard box. Good finish though.....

I know Matty and Charlie getting a lot of credit for their prem class performance but from what I understand it was chery and luongo who were running the show especially chery.

We have two very good players there. If we can just keep Matty and replace Charlie properly going forward we will chaise most teams problems.

Need some reinforcement defensively and a dm and we are laughing. Was all about giving the team 8.9 or 10 games to jel and not melting down and writing everyone off after 2 games.

Tell ya what though, without Phillips and Austin we are screwed.
                                Top post Ginger!

Great win tonight but time is still needed to evaluate whether Ramsey is up to the job.

Austin and Phillips on the other hand are well up to the job! We really do need to make the decision to hang on to them. With them promotion definitely seems possible, but without them our chances are nil.
