Will we need to expand, or is the current attendance capacity enough?

You cant make it a 25k stadium. So what's the point?
QBP 20th August 2009..."To be fair, I'm glad we are top of the table (for agents fees). Shows we are not a selling club anymore."

We dont have a stadium for the prem....most sides that have gone up have had decent stadiums with a bigger capacity.

If we get to the prem, we need to make money from better gates, LR has to be one of the most uncomfortable/ resricted view stadiums/ bad facilities/ in the championship, and smallest capacity out of all the teams that will be possibly in the mix for promotion/top six.

In other words its old, too small, out of date, and none expandable.

We don't have a good enough squad to get there so what exactly is the point? Quality in places but decidedly average in others...

Are you paying for the houses then Pete?? No council on earth would provide planning permission in its current guise.

We could easily match what Fulham currently get if we had the stadium. 25k

              what you mean extend it?
do you mean pay millions for all the houses behind the stand?
get real.there are very few games that would attract a full house of 20.000 plus.apart from derbies and the man u and liverpool games.

How pete, you got houses at the back whose gardens run right up to the stadiums boundry, also you cant do a double high stand because of the daylight restriction that it would cause.

You've also got major major problems with access and egress from a Health and Safety perspective due to the layout of the new school. Then you've got the problem of the sewerage, gas, water and electrics (in a main) under the road.

Someone had a great picture of Ellerslie Road as it would look like with two tiers, without having to build the height too much.

sods law, cannot find it..Still looking

The chance was missed years ago, to extend LR, by not buying the school ground.

Pete Ellerslie stand was built on the cheap, it would prob need underpining, far too expensive.
