A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving QPR and Chelsea… QPR are trying to sign Swansea City central defender Jordi Amat, according to the Mirror. It is claimed that Rangers are struggling to afford the 23-year-old Spaniard, who has not featured for Swansea so far this season. Meanwhile, Chelsea are close to clinching a […]

Would be an amazing signing, but lets be realistic its probably not going to happen unless the bloke takes less money and doesnt care about the prestige of a division which is unlikely, not to mention the absence of any quotes in the 3 articles (at least I dont think there was).

Might do if we shift Green and Austin goes? We need a quality CB so I hope we sort something for Amat.

Judging by the amount of times Les and co have stated that they arn't gonna pay anyone over 20k even if Green and Austin go I doubt they will. The only thing working for us is that he has Williams and Fernandez infront of him and Bartley close behind but then again Swansea are also struggling for depth in that position so they may not be able to sell him.

We aren't offering anyone more than 20k a week. Amat is no doubt on more than that.

If this is the case, we have to look abroad.
