  • Wolves on Wednesday

If we set up the same with Charlie up top on his own and aimless balls hoofed towards him we could get a thumping. Lost count of the aimless hoofs yesterday. Some were just nowhere near him and others he made an effort to challenge for but just isn't good enough to win or hold up. He cannot play the lone striker role. Cardiff were poor. Wolves will be much more dangerous. Interesting selection dilemma for Mr Ramsey.

Need two up front but first impressions of Polter for me are not good. Very early days & won't make a judgement until he's had a fair run, but his touch yesterday was awful & within a minute if coming onto the pitch he nearly cost us a goal by playing the ball directly to a Cardiff player who made a run for goal.

He wasn't the only one Jim seeing the amount of balls given away before he got on he probably thought it was part of Ramsey's instructions

Polter and Austin upfront with Chery and Philips wide and we have a chance of scoring at least. Will be a tough game.

                  Agree mate. Was so bad.

The lack of quality is glaringly obvious.

Never thought I'd say this it's early season maybe an 0-6 tanking could be beneficial
after all we're only going there to get beat

Entirely agree. We must play two up front.

I blame the owners more Hits.....There's different types of spending, ours this season is just to get by, and we'll pay with a double relegation.
We have to bring in quality not journeymen
