  • Defence And other signings needed.

This is where the problem lies.

If we don't get this right then it will be a up and down season. It's my only frustration atm as I do see goals in our team.

Ned is immense but so far haven't been impressed with konchesky and perch. Perch played better than the previous two games but I've noticed his distribution is poor often resulting in us Losing the ball.

Can't get my head around why kepewka isn't playing. Genuinely think he's one QPR youth player who can actually make the step up.

We need two decent cb who are commanding and championship savvy. If Ned gets injured anytime soon we are bang in trouble. Money's tight but would love to see us go all out for dunk.

Love Charlie but want him gone too. I personally think the club thought he would be off now and they could of used the 15 mill to replenish the squad. Reckon it's held up the gayle/Gray deals who I think will be excellent for us if we can get one in. Also think we need the money to get two more defenders at least.

Can't figure Matty out atm. Was anonymous first half but then more effective 2nd half. Should of scored . To me he looks like he wants out and if so we need to sell him and go and get someone like Byrne or nab Lansbury from Forrest and play him alongside luongo.

Transfer window is a joke. Why it isn't shut a week before the season starts so everyone knows what's going on. Frustrated because we need tweaking not major surgery. I feel we are 3/4 players short of having a very good season and I can't figure out if the board has the sense to go and make it happen.

Gayle, dunk, new dm, cb cover and gk if green goes and a top half finish possibly play offs can be achieved.

    Smithies

    Perch Ned dunk kepewka

    New dm. Luongo

    Mackie/Phillips fer cherry

    Gayle

Tbh right now I don't think new personnel will make a jot of difference. We have no ideas, no plan and no structure. Where is this passing attacking football promised? Hardly DE Canio stuff is it? Played like the away team at home to an aveage championship side.

Ramsey needs to get his #### sorted... If he can.

Agree footballing wise it was pretty mate but I don't know what people expect. If you were put in a team of players who you haven't played with much before your chemistry and cohesion wouldn't just happen straight away.

Was plenty of times balls were misplaced yesterday from a lack of understanding where the other player was. It broke our play up in key areas. This imo will sort itself out fairly quickly but will take longer than two games.

Unfortunately for us we won't see our real team or a settled side until probably October time. I just hope we manage to scrape a few wins together in that time.

Not sure we can use the 'need time to gel' excuses. Watford and Charlton have both had a massive overhaul and aren't making excuses. We're playing like we don't know what we're doing or dont want do be doing what we are. Get back to basics or were gonna be in trouble.

Our main problem has been defence for a few years now, only way you can be in the top 6 is by having a solid defence.

We need to sell or loan out some big players asap.

the match was very scrappy and off poor quality , speaking to people sitting by and near me we were all taken aback at how many times perch and konchesky just aimlessly pumped the ball upfield , they will get better the more times they play together but we've let in 4 goals now to two cack teams , wolves will be a big test to where we are really at

Konchesky has been a hoofer his whole career. Don't think a month at Qpr will turn him into a footballer. CK should be our left back.

Perch maybe ok in a few weeks IMO.

Although Hill scored yesterday, he was shocking, getting turned inside out. And konchesky, well, I think we don't need him, got enough #### LB in my opinion. Perch has been a bit disappointing and I don't expect much from Onouha, for me he hasn't performed since being at Rangers. Serious issues with the defence and as someone said in prev post I don't think going to buy new players and throwing them in will work, they need to be managed and I don't think Ramsey is up to the task personally.

Would help if he played 2 upfront.

Indeed! the gap between the one up front and the furthest forward midfielder was massive!

if we insist on playing one up front then hoofing up to the lone forward is a complete waste of time

The system he is playing is supposed to turn 433 when attacking.

its like shanks and bigfoot have spent all summer compiling their midfield using 90% of their budget like two bought ledger nerds in their office fantasy league comp.

two weeks before the start of the season and ther've suddenly remembered we've got a defence thats more Receptive to being breached than a 1970's Piccadilly meat rack of young hairless boys from castleford.

3 months wheeling and dealing in the close season and they apologetically cough up the Rampton stockwell strangler , konchesky and Sir Ian Mckellans 'Walter' Perch like a lump of capstin full strength phelgm in a silk hankie

                            sweet like chocolate lads.

I ####in luvs you les, but your duddly rush glove puppet is giving me a prolonged dull ache in the testicals

Is a new manager gonna make any difference?, I never wanted johnny Nelson here and his Fibonacci statistics look like a binary code on the open university, but id give him 6/8 games to at least look like something that doesnt represent Micheal bentines Potty time .
Perch and konchesky are the worst fullbacks seen since Bruce & Christer Warren graced the hallowed lotus road turf
I still can't believe that we parted cash for perch , a truly terrible signing when a million quid would have got us Chris Gunter
As for our defence I've never seen it so far back, in the second half we were back in the school end

Not seen enough of him during his career to agree or disagree with you. Maybe you have.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
