We can talk about the price all day long, but you can get in Loftus Road for £20 and thats far cheaper than many other clubs in the championship

Where can you get in for £20......Bronze, holds fa....specials at school end.
People moved there from dearer parts of the ground, thats why school end was almost full and lower loft was half empty.

The club need to lower prices at all parts of the ground and get rid of B,S,G,P......and the scotch caaaaaarnt.
    They seek him here.................

Pete the club keep saying there are no £20 tickets when people try to buy them as the club keep trying to sell the dearer ones,so no we are not cheaper then other clubs sorry but we are one of the dearest in this league if not the dearest.

No disputing ticketmaster are not releasing the cheaper tickets, (unless they have been told), but the £20 and £25 tickets show we are not the most expensive, its a myth created.

Rightly or wrongly, we've had some of the best deals/offers for fans this season. on a par or better than other clubs in this division.

Admittedly if you want a £30 in Gold then fair enough, but thats normally the choice of the fan who is buying it.

Pete yes we have done some good deals this season, but would we needed to of done them if the ticket prices were better in the first place I would say no. You say people can get £30 gold tickets if they want but if thats all ticketmaster offer when people ring up its a joke.

I don't think the match day prices are massively unreasonable. It's just that they're a tad over complicated and I think there's some room for improvement as to how they're marketing match day sales.

Season ticket prices though were ridiculous. We lost a hell of a lot of regulars as, with midweek games that some cannot attend (school, work, distance etc.) it was cheaper to buy match by match. Then you lose the habit and there's no incentive to go out on a rainy Saturday....

Spot on. All very well offering excellent matchday deals, but does that not defeat the point of buying a season ticket?

Slightly off-subject... but at this moment in time, there is a big under-current of support for QPR that occasionally shows itself at games like Chelsea and United last year.... and would if we were seriously going for promotion in march/april/may.
The Play-Off Final was also a turn out that we wouldn't have got 20/30 years ago.

The reason for that is the success on the pitch that we had in the 70's and 80's, when lots of kids decided on QPR as their team.
They've grown up now - I'm one of them.

So it's ironic that we didn't have the sheer numbers of fans when we were good, and now we do have a good fanbase... we're a second rate team.

It's in about 10/20 years time that we'll pay for the recent failures on the pitch, in terms of core support... because while many kids chose QPR as their team in the "glory" days of the 70's and 80's, not many are doing that now... and when this generation grows up, and their kids follow the same team as Dad, we'll be even further behind Arsenal and Chelsea than we are now.

So we have to tap in to the 1000's of part-time fans we have now, who are just waiting for a successful team to go and watch on a regular basis.
Because in decades to come, there wont be any if we carry on swimming around in the lower leagues... it'll just drop and drop.

We took 42,000 to Wembley in 1986. I know many believe that game didn't actually happen, but, it shows that there was a latent fan base even then.

                    That wasn't in Cardiff though.

I take your point, but we are the nearest of all 92 clubs to Wembley Stadium, and the Cardiff game was a third division match.

I think we have more adult fans now, than we had 25/30 years ago.

Anyway... I think you dreamt that 1986 game.

                        It Never Happened. OK?

Well technically the trophy is ours.

It's the Football League Cup... and Oxford are no longer in the Football League, so they should be made to hand it over to a member of the Football League.
                              That's us.
