You mean just like season 2001/2002 when we got 13,000 ????? :boss:

Indeed. Newcastle have lost an average of 12,000 per game off their average from last season.

        Leeds lost 9,000.

I think only ourselves and Man City in recent years have gone down and maintained the previous years average.

I remember us getting around 9,000 for a Premiership match against Wimbledon.

            1. We would have been taken over on the cheap after we went into Administration and would have started again like we did when Olly was in charge. I doubt we'd have fallen lower than League Two.
            2. The fan base would unite (for once) as everyone pulled together like we did last time
            3. The crowd at QPR has not significantly varied over the last fifteen years or so we've been out of the top flight. In fact, I think that our average crowd has been at its highest when we were in the third tier.
            4. Me, like most other true Rs fans wouldn't give two ****s about what league we are in - if there's a QPR to watch, I'll watch them whenever I get the time to watch them.

There's always the lowest one of the season. Lowest league crowd I can remember in recent years was our first season outside the top flight in 13 years v Bradford. 7,400 and they stuck the away fans into the Ellerslie.

Let's not forget Chelsea's stonking world famous 6,092 for a top flight game v Oxford in 1987. Always brings a smile.....

Anyone who has supported Rangers long enough would know our crowds wouldnt go down if we were in Lge 1, in fact they would probaly go up.

                  Total spin.

im really getting fed up of this, we would be nowhere without gp and flavio crap.ive been going down the rangersfor more years than i care to remember and have been through loads of ups and downs, but one consistency is our core support, which i would put at about 8000.that means come rain ,shine or whatever league we are in.thats the minimum.jesus pete do you think we never sang songs before you turned up?

I'd say, about 6-7 thousand die-hards would still support the club when it was well and truly on it's uppers, myself included.

I'm loving this we would average the same or get more...

                                What rubbish...short memories

2001-02 8,519 at home to Wigan, 10,000 at home V bury and 9,000 V Tranmere

                                and a measley 5,336 V Vauxhall Motors 2002/03.

The crowds went up near the end of the season, when we were doing well.
