Look, I'm as ####€$d off as everyone else on here but I watched quite a bit of championship football last season and I can tell you this, we are way off the mark with quality and ideas and proper leadership on the pitch. This is one of the hardest leagues in the world to get out off and we will struggle to stay in it this year mark my words.

Team is jelling atm and that doesn't come over night. Going forward I think we will be fine. Polter, hopefully gayle, 2 decent wingers in chery and Phillips, gladwin we will score goals.

We needed joey today, I don't think we would of lost it if he was in cm with luongo. We need a decent dm who's a leader and experienced at this level.

Ultimately what will decide our season and any success will be what we do defensively. Need was immense today but konchesky is awful and don't understand how he starts in front of kepewka. Perch is nervous with very poor distribution and hill although massively respect him needs to be back up. If we bring in a decent cb we will be ok.

Relegation talk is utter rubbish. Cardiff are a decent team and we could of put 4,5 pass them today with a tea, that's hardly played together.

Genuinely think after 10-12 games with a settled team we will compete. To many people lose the plot on here to quickly.
Agree with just about all of that.

Far too many knee jerk reactions on here. It's a totally new side that has had a shambles of a pre-season, they will take time to gel. I'm not pretending everything is perfect, there are clearly improvements to be made off the field too. A bit of patience is needed though!

Some of you really need to take off the rose tinted glasses, if any of you thought Cardiff were a good team then you are in for a very quick shock. We will get destroyed by the likes of wolves, hull, and dare I say it brentford. This league is very good with some good footballing sides. We unfortunately are not.

if u look at man city away last season it was men against boys , but they were so much fitter than us , said then sack our fitness coach

I haven't got rose-tinted glasses mate, I just have a sense of perspective. There is shades of Gray between the black and white you know.

Jack look, I'm not saying that that we WILL get relegated or that we WILL get spanked by wolves but there is too much evidence from the first two games of the season to show that this type of performance will not only continue but get worse due to to panic decisions. The whole approach to this season was wrong and the signings backed that up.
After the first 20 mins of the game yesterday I thought we were going to be in trouble.
There is a very fine line between saying don't go for promotion and just stay in the league and re build to fighting a relegation battle, 3/4 very good or very bad players and you can go either way.

Well we will find out in four days when we play wolves. So what do you class as destroyed so we can measure against it mate???

If I was a betting man I think we might lose up there but equally could see us nicking something

The sad thing is I was expecting Cardiff to equalise, it was just a matter of when. You guys have every right to be pissed off but starting a campaign against the manager/players won't help it will hinder the performances. Saw some qpr fan abusing Charlie and his wife on twitter like what's that all about?

Personally I think we will lose 2 or 3 nil. If we were to nick 93rd min goal and do a smash and grab I would love it.
The big difference between the sides going for promotion and relegation is that they can get the ball down and play good football. I don't want us to lose next week but I also don't the #### taken out of us on the pitch.
The good teams in this league can do that and having watched yesterday I'm not looking forward to it.

Oh god we're rolling that one out already are we. Last 4 seasons that's been the golden line.

Yea I agree we need time but what has gelling have to do with the way we set up, poor substitutions & lack of ability passing a ball?

We will face better sides then Cardiff this season and worse, for me they looked ordinary not a bad side at all just bog standard middle table side. Other them passing it around there back four too and from the centre circle via Whittingam where did play get them

If we play that game again four or five games into the season with 2 0 lead we win
                        Good post West.....

For the record I am supportive of the Ramsey appointment as it confirmed the club was prepared to have a more long term strategy namely buying younger more risky players as opposed to those wanting one last pay day. I recognise it will take time and I am prepared to see our club spend 2 years consolidating in the Championship before pushing for promotion.

P.ssed off with the performance yesterday as I had hoped we would be better than that. I know it is a new squad etc but as many have said some of them players couldn't deliver 5 yard passes and there did seem confusion on roles and responsibilities.

I would have rather have seen some fluidity and promise with a defeat than 1 or 3 points. In time the players will become more familiar with each other so in theory it should improve I hope.

This reminded me of the second division days when we were awful. I think we are going to have to get used to this and lower our expectations for a few years.

I don't want a change of management as we have to see this through. What is the alternative? Get a more established name in who will want a budget and his own players in and we just continue to do what has failed us since we sacked Warnock. We all want a club that is sustainable and to get there it will take time and a massive amount of patience.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate why a lot of fans are seriously p.ssed off as seeing Rangers yesterday was a bit of a shock to the system.

We didn't lose and really were nowhere near as people are making out. The scored a goal in the last minute from a bloke i dont think has ever scored before in his lifetime. It was just disappointing and avoidable, but we really are not rubbish.
