I like him and think he is well underrated.

Not someone who is going beat three players and set world alight but more often then not he does the simple and basic things and is a 7\10 week in week out

Give it up, Disco. Henryhnio is not a crap waste of space and neither is he a world beater. He is a breaker up of play, a stopper, a keep it simple merchant. A Ian Holloway / Gary Waddock type whose work will go unsung by many.

      No more, no less.

      So there.

Does what it says on the tin.

A bread and butter player that every team needs.

No offence to anyone but when i see him he reminds me of an incident i had back in the late nineties, Id been out on the lash (Oats and barley)for 3 days and upon my return to the cradle of the matrimonial house , was met with the disturbing sight of my insane 2nd wife in the car , on the drive, blaring out ' she sells sanctuary' by The Cult, whereupon she proceeded to run me over at 4 miles per hour ....as i lay there i thought to myself this was a juxtaposition of some note .. in many ways a bit like karl being remunerated a handsome wage for being an association football player. when quite clearly, he isnt anything of the sort.
Not saying I agree about the Karl Henry bit but love the post - very witty

He has certainly been better than I had expected. He does break up play and looks to keep it simple. Also a good attitude and just gets on with things. Quite athletic but he does do silly things. Sometimes likes to hold onto it too long or plays a stray pass that normally creates opponents to have a goal scoring chance. Been a good solid signing at a good price but not quite as commanding and effective as Derry for me!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I like Henry. Funnily enough he frustrated me in the Championship with his dangerous turns in the middle of the park but I felt he was much more effective in the Premiership last season.

Not great, not bad either. He does a job, he's reliable.

There were far worse targets for criticism last season disco as I must have mentioned to you over on lfw. Along with your persecution of 'Sir' Bobby

I think he's good for us when we're going to be on back foot and have little possession. That worked in premiership but in championship, think games should be more equal and we need to impose ourselves on games.

Think in games where we will dominate possession not as useful. Against teams that will attack us he will be effective at breaking up play.

OK at breaking it up. Absolute dog of a player when asked to play though.

Would disagree there, he tends to retain the ball with his passing. As I recall he had the best pass success rate of our players last year even though they were mostly sideways and backwards but at least he keeps it safe and smart. Got a good shot on him as well.
