Still think he'll go at the last minute though.

Bit different to Ramsey's comments the other day.

I thought Ramsey said their getting calls and offers in all the time, Austin wants to go and he is likely to go?

"He can`t allow himself to slip now" hmmm, sounds like a little dig to me.
In other words, chin up boy, get back in the goals and you`ll get your move.

I'd be a bit frustrated if i was Charlie - It's pretty obvious he would want to go and play in the prem again.
Its whether he becomes frustrated at us putting the asking price we have put on him... He probably sees it stopping him leaving and playing Prem football

We'll be gone someone will come in with a bid about £13M near deadline and the club will bottle it and take the dosh on offer regardless of what they say, but would love them to stick to their guns and keep him if no one offers enough dosh

Of course, he could refuse to sign a new contract if he feels it doesn't suit him, as Ings did.

This. Wba, murdered yesterday, will panic. Only a panic buy will land Charlie. Think most see his limitations. He's goal scoring record notwithstanding.

That looks like Charlie's best option, shaft us and get a fat contract wherever he chooses to go next.
But to do that he will have to bang in loads of goals this season to keep his reputation.

WBA getting murdered was nothing to do with forwards unless you want them to score 4 past man city ?

Think Charlie is waiting out for a top 6 club.
I also think if he is going to go it will be on deadline day... and it will be a last minute thing from a club wanting to see if they can get him on the cheap.

If i was a Spurs or Newcastle i would be waiting til deadline day to see if they can get him for 2-3 mill quid cheaper. They'll know we want to sell, he is in the final year of his contract. Its either that or no one coming in for him and waiting to get him on a free next season.

All sides who have shown interest have gone and got forwards. Not sure what clubs are left who may be interested other than West Ham
