Stoke just broke theirs as well, and still three million less than we want for charlie. Puts it into a bit of perspective as to why he hasnt gone anywhere, clubs would have to smash their transfer record to get a player whos got slight injury worries and can only play in a two pronged attack.

Will be a massive and superb u turn if he decides to stay. Got to feel a bit sorry for him though that the only club who values him is 'joke club' rangers.

I know I will be vilified but I wouldn't rush.. Clearly CR likes to play with one up front and CA cannot hold it up enough (ala Polter) to play that role.

Also what kind of wages would we be offering to play in the championship?

Crazy talk, Ramsey will have to adapt his formation to suit chaz - who is pretty much guaranteed to score 15+ goals if he stays. He should give Neil Warnock a ring for some tips on how to build a team around one player (and how to storm the league while he's got him on the phone)

A fit Charlie with Polter taking the flack to his side will be prolific.

Perhaps that is also the reason why the club are offering Charlie an allegedly eye-watering amount of dosh to sign again.

If he signs a contract this week, maybe we can get qblockpete to do his fifteen laps of the pitch saturday evening in the summer sun. Must admit im not going to push for the 'naked bit though.

Polter and Charlie up front like the new and improved Charlie and Bobby. Target man and finisher combine to become the best strike partnership in championship history and just when clubs start to think they are running out of steam, in comes JET to continue the destruction.
I like the sound of that to be honest.

                            Ouch!
Hopefully it will be just enough to prevent the dreaded double relegation so many on here fear mate.

Ok probably crazy talk even if it's just to protect our investment. We also need to know CA won't be sulking that he hasn't got his dream move. Have a look at CA playing with Polter (a better BZ)... Will mean that formation will need to change and now only 4 spots for Doughty, Diakete, Chery, Gladwin, Luongo, Gobern, JET, Phillips, Mackie, Henry, Fer and Faurlin to fight for.

PR by the club to calm fans down about Austin's impending move to West Ham or Spurs
